Chiropractic education for dentists

Relationship between occlusion and general condition recently got noticed in dentistry. Some of dentists are interested in chiropractic.

But chiropractors do not treat CMD with adjustment of TMJ. Adjustment of TMJ must be done after adjustment of spines. Therefore, even dentists must treat general condition with adjustment of full spines. Before dentists treat dental diseases with chiropractic, it is a necessary to master chiropractic.

But situation of chiropractic education in Japan is very poor. There is no license of chiropractor in Japan. There is no law about chiropractic in Japan, too. Therefore, Japanese chiropractors do not like to study about chiropractic and most of they do not study CSC. These problems make chiropractic education difficult for dentists. Some of chiropractic schools cannot teach about adjustment of spines. Skills of teachers are very poor. Therefore, many chiropractors in Japan cannot adjust spines, even if they have graduated chiropractic schools.

Then I begin a study group―Okanaga Chiropractic Academy. Dentists are educated at this study group. Okanaga Chiropractic Academy has 2 courses. One of them is the correspondence course of education about chiropractic, 2 textbooks and exercises are prepared. The object of this course is review of chiropractic. Another is observation of treatment. The object of this course is study about chiropractic in dentistry. After review of chiropractic observation is done.
